Paris Basketball officially signs Francesco Tabellini as new head coach

With Ettore Messina another Italian coach in the EuroLeague: Francesco Tabellini is officially the new head coach of Paris Basketball.

The contract is a two-year one. Modenese, 41, has led Nymburk to 57 victories in the BCL and won two national titles in recent seasons.

‘I always believed that one day I would have the chance to coach in the Euroleague,’ Francesco Tabellini commented on the club’s official website. ‘Since I started developing my vision of a fast-paced basketball, I often asked myself what stylistic compromises I would have to accept to adapt to this level. Then Paris Basketball knocked on my door. With this club, I feel a total convergence of visions. And I sincerely believe that there is nothing stronger than a shared vision’.
