Paris Basketball announces Tuomas Iisalo as the new head coach of the capital’s team. Iisalo comes from one of the most successful seasons in European basketball history.
With a record of 32 wins and 2 losses in this year’s regular season of the Bundesliga, equal to the championship record, Telekom Baskets Bonn finished ahead of the EuroLeague clubs of Bayern Munich and Alba Berlin.
The German club also won the Basketball Champions League, beating Hapoel Jerusalem in the semi-finals in Malaga: Tuomas Iisalo’s record this season is 54 wins and 7 losses in all competitions.
Tuomas Iisalo succeeds Will Weaver, who in 2022-2023 led the Parisian club in its first season in the Eurocup (quarter-finals) and to the best result in its history at the national level, ending just short of the playoffs (9th in BetClic Elite).
