Paris Basket closes regular season with easy win over ALBA Berlin

Paris Basket wrapped up their EuroLeague regular season with a comfortable 75-55 win over ALBA Berlin, keeping alive their slim hopes of avoiding the Play-In tournament by improving their record to 19-15.

In what felt like a glorified practice, TJ Shorts directed operations with 10 points and seven assists without a single turnover, while Nadir Hifi and Mikael Jantunen led the scoring with 15 points each. Paris dominated from the start, leading 22-14 after the first quarter and building a 46-31 halftime advantage.

ALBA, who finished with the league’s worst record at 5-29, had 14 points from Justin Bean but couldn’t mount any serious challenge. Paris controlled the second half with authority, limiting ALBA to just eight points in the third quarter and cruising to the finish line.

Now, the French club waits for other results to determine if they can skip the Play-In round or not.
