PAOK defeated Peristeri Betsson 84-82 in their second preseason friendly, played this afternoon in Metsovo. It was a good opportunity for head coach Andrea Trinchieri to draw several useful conclusions against a strong opponent, while also taking into account all the circumstances created by the demanding preparation and the important absences.
Andrea Trinchieri started the game with Mitrou-Long, Tyree, Gray, Alexander and Chougkaz, making his first appearance since suffering an injury on March 18 against Peristeri. Nikos Persidis also returned and is now following the team’s program.
Foster and Omoruyi did not play as a precaution, while Calathes, Bazinas and Osman are expected to join PAOK’s preseason program at the beginning of next week.
