PAOK have announced that Clifford Omoruyi will remain with the club for one more season. The Nigerian center, who joined the Thessaloniki team last February, will stay on the roster for the 2026-27 campaign.
Born on October 11, 2001 in Benin City, Omoruyi is a 2.11m center who developed in the United States. After four seasons at Rutgers, where he averaged 10.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, he completed his NCAA career at Alabama.
In 2025 he signed his first professional contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv before moving to Galatasaray and then PAOK. With the Greek club, he played 22 games, averaging 7 points and 4.1 rebounds while shooting 65.6% from two-point range and 75.6% from the free-throw line.
