According to multiple Serbian and Greek outlets, Panathinaikos has reportedly turned its attention to Richaun Holmes as a new target to complete its frontcourt rotation.
The Greek powerhouse was believed to be close to a deal with Thomas Bryant, but the former Pacers big man has reportedly asked for more time to evaluate potential NBA options.
Holmes, who was also linked to Fenerbahce before the Turkish club extended Khem Birch, was recently waived by the Washington Wizards and remains a free agent.
After 10 seasons in the NBA, the 31-year-old out of Bowling Green could be heading to Europe for the first time in his professional career.
