Panathinaikos reportedly set to sign Jilson Bango from Casademont Zaragoza

The Greek club ready to pay €1 million for the Angolan center

Panathinaikos appears close to reaching an agreement with Casademont Zaragoza for Jilson Bango. According to Relevo, the Greek team, looking to strengthen its frontcourt due to injuries, is willing to pay around €1 million, the amount demanded by the Spanish club.

Negotiations with Fenerbahçe broke down after the Turkish side offered €600,000, which Zaragoza deemed insufficient. Bango, under contract until 2027 and without a release clause, can only leave if an economic agreement is reached.

Meanwhile, Casademont Zaragoza has started scouting for a replacement, with Bojan Dubljevic’s strong return from injury further encouraging the club to greenlight Bango’s transfer.
