Panathinaikos have been pushing for days to sign Nigel Hayes-Davis, former EuroLeague MVP and currently an NBA free agent. According to the Greek club’s owner, however, the player has turned down the offer.
Dimitris Giannakopoulos shared the update on Instagram, seemingly bringing an end to the Greens’ pursuit of Hayes-Davis. The forward remains a key name to monitor on the EuroLeague market, with Hapoel Tel Aviv and Fenerbahce also among the teams reportedly interested in landing the superstar.
As for Panathinaikos’ own market plans, another player to keep an eye on is Dario Šarić, who is also expected to leave the NBA in the coming days.
