Panathinaikos managed Kendrick Nunn carefully ahead of the game against Anadolu Efes. The American guard did not take part in Thursday’s practice on April 16 because of muscle spasms in his back, instead following a recovery and treatment program.
His condition, however, is not considered serious. According to the report, Nunn is expected to join Friday morning’s shootaround and, unless there is an unexpected setback, he should be available for the matchup against the Turkish side.
Coach Ergin Ataman also downplayed the issue, saying: “I don’t think there is a problem.” He explained that Nunn felt the spasm after lifting weights before practice and asked to receive treatment in order to be ready for the following day.
