Relief for Panathinaikos AKTOR: medical tests revealed that Richaun Holmes suffered a partial tear of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee, not an ACL injury. The American center will be sidelined for about one month.
Holmes was injured in the second quarter against Maccabi Tel Aviv, causing major concern for the team. Panathinaikos confirmed that surgery won’t be needed and rehabilitation starts immediately.
Coach Ergin Ataman expects to have him back by late November.
