Panathinaikos Aktor will be without Cedi Osman in their EuroLeague opener against Bayern Munich. The Turkish forward, sidelined since his EuroBasket 2025 injury, remains limited to individual practice and is also questionable for Friday’s clash with Barcelona.
Head coach Ergin Ataman had hoped Osman would be cleared in time, but the 31-year-old may end up missing both games. The former NBA forward, who joined Panathinaikos in 2024 and extended his deal until 2027, stays on the injury list alongside Mathias Lessort, out for several more weeks.
On a positive note, T.J. Shorts II is back from illness. “The most important thing is to be mentally prepared after the long break. Official games are starting and we must be ready,” Ataman said.
