Panathinaikos, Ataman’s harsh comment on Vildoza: “Players like him cannot ask to play more”

Panathinaikos won against Kolossos Rodou in the championship at the end of a difficult match for his team, despite the considerable difference in values on the court. At the end of the game, coach Ergin Ataman commented on the match on TV, calling it “unacceptable, a terrible game” and complaining about his players, especially Luca Vildoza.

Ataman’s comment on Vildoza: “I want to criticize my players, especially Vildoza. He shot 1/7 from the field. Every game, every player has to play well. Players like Vildoza cannot take that many shots. They cannot ask to play more in the EuroLeague. Besides, Mitoglou’s performance has dipped.

Vildoza is averaging just over 15 minutes in the EuroLeague and is averaging 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
