Panathinaikos unveil new adidas jersey
Panathinaikos BC AKTOR and adidas have unveiled the team’s new home jersey for the 2026/27 season, officially marking the beginning of a new chapter in the club’s history.
The new era is symbolically highlighted by the return of Željko Obradović, the coach who has written his own history at Panathinaikos BC AKTOR.

Athens and the Acropolis inspire the design
The new jersey draws inspiration from Athens and the identity of Panathinaikos BC AKTOR.
The team’s iconic green meets a timeless depiction of the Acropolis on the front of the jersey, building on the design identity introduced during the 2023/24 season.
adidas’ signature 3-Stripes appear in a cream shade on the two side panels, creating a distinctive contrast with the green and completing the design.
Technology and sustainability
The new jersey combines design and functionality through CLIMACOOL technology, designed to provide comfort during the most demanding moments of competition.
The jersey is also made using recycled materials, in line with adidas’ approach to innovation and sustainability.
“Time to return”
To mark the launch of the new jersey, Panathinaikos BC AKTOR and adidas created a cinematic campaign for the start of the new season.
The campaign captures the anticipation and rituals of fans before a game before building toward the reveal of the new jersey. The story then shifts to the team, with the coach and players taking center stage.
The message “Time to return” expresses the hope of returning to great moments and welcomes the new season.
The campaign features Željko Obradović, captain Kostas Sloukas, Guerschon Yabusele, Sylvain Francisco and Dinos Mitoglou.
More than 20 years with adidas
The new jersey marks another chapter in the long-standing partnership between Panathinaikos BC AKTOR and adidas, which has lasted for more than 20 years.
Throughout the partnership, the 3-Stripes have accompanied the club through significant moments in its history and major competitive achievements.
New Panathinaikos jerseys coming soon
The new Panathinaikos BC AKTOR jerseys for the 2026/27 season will soon be available through PAO Shop, at the shop locations inside the arena and at selected points of sale.
