An unusual step before Round 26: the EuroLeague-mandated session won’t take place

Panathinaikos AKTOR will not hold the pre-game media day ahead of Tuesday, February 3 clash vs Real Madrid Baloncesto (21:15) at the OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall (Telekom Center Athens) for EuroLeague Round 26.

The move is described as unusual because media day is normally required by EuroLeague for home fixtures. The decision was made by head coach Ergin Ataman.

The report adds that Ataman has recently opted not to speak to journalists in person, instead issuing written remarks released through the club.
