Pallacanestro Varese is ready to close its second transfer deal: Carlos Stewart, a 22-year-old, 185 cm tall American point guard, released about ten days ago by Hamburg Towers, is on his way. This was reported by La Prealpina.
In Germany, between the Bundesliga and Eurocup, he averaged 11.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in nine games.
A 2025 graduate of Santa Clara University, where he averaged 12.1 points and 2.9 assists with 39% from three, Stewart is an explosive player, physically compact and capable of creating opportunities for his teammates. In Varese, he will join Ike Iroegbu, alternating between the roles of point guard and shooting guard.
