Openjobmetis Varese is now focusing on Markel Brown after negotiations for Colbey Ross faded yesterday in the direction of Bertram Derthona.
Markel Brown, formerly with Brooklyn Nets and recently with Girona, where he has had declining performances, is now Varese’s main target.
The former Immarcabili player, known for his competitive intensity, has received a formal offer from Varese until 30 June 2025.
Brown could take some time to evaluate other offers, but has no preclusions for a return to Varese, where he is remembered for his ability to elevate his teammates’ game.
This season Markel Brown produced 7.7 points on average in ACB with Girona.
