Pallacanestro Reggiana are pleased to announce the return of Troy Caupain, who has signed with the club through the end of the current season.
The American guard began the 2026-27 campaign in Turkey with Trabzonspor. He was one of the key players for UNA Hotels Reggio Emilia last season, helping the team reach the Serie A playoffs and the FIBA Europe Cup quarterfinals. In the Italian league, he averaged 15.3 points, 5.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds, along with a 16.8 performance index rating per game. In March 2026, he was named LBA Player of the Month.
General Manager Marco Sambugaro commented: “We are very happy to welcome back one of last season’s key players. Caupain left a positive impression both on and off the court, having built a strong bond with the club and the city. He is an important player who will help us given our currently limited guard rotation. I want to thank the Bartoli family for helping make this deal happen.”
