According to sources cited by Marc Stein of Substack, the Indiana Pacers have established themselves as a respectable trading partner with the Toronto Raptors for Pascal Siakam.
As Siakam enters the final year of his contract, there have been more rumors about his potential availability.
Other teams may become interested in Siakam; the Atlanta Hawks have also expressed interest.
Siakam has expressed a desire to stay with the Raptors, but it’s thought that once Fred VanVleet left, the team decided to give Scottie Barnes and OG Anunoby more playing time.
Stein says that the Raptors are actually far more willing to give up Siakam than most first thought.
