Pablo Laso: Serge Ibaka is a role model

Bayern Munich coach Pablo Laso talks about Serge Ibaka’s great impact on the team.

“Serge leads my players every day. He is a veteran and many veterans come from the NBA to prove something, he doesn’t need that. He just wants to play and show how in shape and professional he is. After the game he goes to work in the weight room and tomorrow he will come back to practice. He is a role model, which does not happen often. He is a leader with his work culture, something we want to continue to implement in our organization”.

Last night Ibaka scored the last-second three-pointer that sent to overtime the game against Olimpia Milano, then won 91-84.

The veteran big man has scored 19.5 points (60% from 2P, 8/10 from long range) and grabbed 9 rebounds in the last 4 Euroleague games.
