Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic openly criticized EuroLeague after the club’s game against Virtus Bologna was moved from Thursday, March 13, to Wednesday, a decision he says came without Partizan’s approval.
Speaking to Meridian Sport, Mijailovic called it “a very strange situation” and argued that EuroLeague regulations do not allow such a change without the club’s consent, even if the league cited security concerns in Italy.
He pointed to the consequences for fans and club operations—travel plans, charter logistics, and costs—while also backing a shift from B-licenses to long-term spots, insisting that any reform must come with “clear rules, equal for everyone.”
