The Magic will be without Jalen Suggs for an indefinite period after he injured his right knee versus the Bulls
Jalen Suggs suffered a Grade 1 MCL contusion in his right knee during Friday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls. Orlando said his recovery timetable will be determined by how he responds to treatment.
Injuries have repeatedly interrupted Suggs’ five-year NBA career, and the setback came shortly after he returned from a left hip contusion.
Last season, he played 35 games and underwent arthroscopic surgery in March on his left knee.
Maxey ended last season with a career-high 28.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game.
