The dispute between Olympiacos, Thomas Walkup and Dubai continues following the official letter sent by the Reds, which also involved EuroLeague.
Dubai’s response, according to betarades.gr, offers a completely different account of events from the one presented by the Greek club.
The Emirati organization claims it was informed that Walkup had decided to leave Olympiacos, regardless of which teams were interested in him or what offers he might receive. For this reason, Dubai says it contacted the Reds three times, submitting three separate offers to acquire the player’s rights.
According to Dubai, another 3-4 teams interested in Walkup instead chose to communicate directly with the player and his representatives, without contacting Olympiacos.
