Thomas Walkup’s time with Olympiacos appears to be coming to an end.
The Greek club has announced that the point guard formally notified them of his decision to unilaterally terminate his contract, requesting his immediate release.
However, the Reds have no intention of letting him leave before the expiration of his contract, which is set for June 2027.
“We expect Walkup on August 20 for his medical examinations. Otherwise, the club reserves the right to take legal action to defend its rights.”
The 33-year-old point guard has spent five highly successful seasons with the Reds, but he now appears determined to join Dubai.
