Nikola Milutinov has been officially ruled out of Olympiacos’ EuroLeague Round 24 game against Anadolu Efes.
He was not included in the traveling roster and will not make the trip to Istanbul.
Milutinov took a hit to the head from O’Shea Brissett in the game versus Maccabi, and his availability was doubtful from the start.
Shortly before departure, Olympiacos confirmed he is not fit to travel.
Frank Ntilikina, on the other hand, felt discomfort in his ankle during the game and does not feel ready to take the court against Pablo Laso’s team. The news complicates the management of the point guard/shooting guard position, which is already reduced in rotations.
Giorgos Bartzokas confirmed this: ‘We are travelling without Milutinov and without Ntilikina… he is not ready for tomorrow. We have several absences in the “1” position, Morris is also missing and that is a problem: we have to deal with it with a few tricks’.
Tip-off is set for Thursday, Jan. 22 at 19:30.
