The Greek club is reportedly willing to pay Partizan’s release clause, but the player’s salary demands could complicate negotiations.

Olympiacos are reportedly showing strong interest in Isaac Bonga, with the Partizan Belgrade forward potentially set to leave Serbia ahead of next season.

According to Gazzetta.gr, Olympiacos would have no problem paying the €700,000 buyout required to release the player from his contract and bring him to another EuroLeague team. The buyout clause rises to €850,000 in the event of a move to an NBA franchise.

However, the main obstacle in the negotiations appears to be Bonga’s salary demands. The German international is reportedly seeking a contract worth €2 million per season, an aspect of the deal that Olympiacos will need to address if they want to complete the signing.
