Olympiacos handed one-game closed-door sanction, Tariq Jones fined €100,000

The DEAB has fined Tariq Jones €100,000 and handed Olympiacos a one-game closed-door sanction for a domestic home game next season.

The ruling concerns the incident involving Kendrick Nunn near the end of Game 5 of the Greek Finals at SEF. According to SDNA, the Olympiacos center’s action was considered more serious than Nunn’s, who had previously been fined €50,000.

The DEAB can only impose financial penalties on players and a one-game closed-door sanction on clubs. The same case will also be examined by ESAKE, with further disciplinary decisions expected.
