Olympiacos, Evan Fournier sidelined for around 20 days

Olympiacos have received bad news ahead of a crucial stretch of the season. Evan Fournier is expected to miss around 20 days after suffering an extensive bruise to his left shoulder and a sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

The French guard will miss Friday’s EuroLeague matchup against Fenerbahçe and could also be unavailable for the October 30 game against Olimpia Milano. His absence comes alongside that of Tyler Dorsey, who remains away from the team while awaiting a club decision following the controversy surrounding his social media post. Georgios Bartzokas will therefore have a shorter rotation during an important part of the campaign.
