Olympiacos received a “no” from David Jones-Garcia, who is determined to continue his career in the NBA.

Negotiations between Olympiacos and David Jones-Garcia have ended in failure: the player has decided to remain in the NBA after a successful Summer League with the San Antonio Spurs, rather than join the EuroLeague.

Dusty Garza, a San Antonio Spurs reporter, reported the player’s decision and added that Jones-Garcia had informed European suitors through his agents that he wanted to continue his career in the NBA.

Olympiacos had reportedly offered the player a three-year contract worth an estimated $2.2 million per year.
