Olympiacos books the final: OAKA lifts the Reds past Fenerbahce

Bartzokas’ team controls rhythm and physicality to become the first EuroLeague finalist

Olympiacos beat Fenerbahce 79-61 to reach the EuroLeague final: top scorers were Alec Peters with 17 points, Biberovic with 17, and Vezenkov with 16.

The Greek side started strong in a packed OAKA, jumping out to an 8-0 lead and closing the first quarter up 18-12 behind 11 points from Dorsey.

Olympiacos stretched the gap to 17 in the second quarter through Ward and Peters, while Fenerbahce struggled to find rhythm and trailed 33-24 at halftime.

After the break, the Reds opened with another 11-0 run, but Baldwin, Horton-Tucker, De Colo and Biberovic kept Jasikevicius’ team alive.

Fenerbahce cut the deficit to 56-49 in the fourth, before Fournier, Milutinov, Peters, Dorsey and Vezenkov shut down the Turkish comeback.
