Olympiacos, Angelopoulos brothers celebrate: “We will enter the new SEF as European champions”

Olympiacos won the fourth EuroLeague title in club history by defeating Real Madrid 92-85 in the 2026 Final Four championship game. After the victory, Georgios Bartzokas’ team reached the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, welcomed by the passion of Olympiacos fans.

Club owners Giorgos and Panagiotis Angelopoulos delivered a powerful message to the red-and-white crowd. Giorgos Angelopoulos said: “We are European champions. Celebrate this team, the whole team. Everything is done for you, thank you for all your support. Until the end. In a few months, Olympiacos will enter its new home, the new SEF, as European champion. The best is yet to come.”

Panagiotis Angelopoulos added: “What we experienced today is something we had never experienced in our lives. We want to experience it again. Let’s go for more European titles.” For EuroLeague champion Olympiacos, the win over Real Madrid now becomes a starting point toward the new SEF.
