Olympiacos and Panathinaikos are both making a push to lure big man Daniel Oturu away from Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Although Oturu reportedly agreed to a lucrative deal with the Israeli club, the contract has yet to be officially announced, and the current situation in Israel may prompt the player to explore other options.
According to IsraelHayom, the two Greek powerhouses are closely monitoring developments, hoping Oturu re-enters the market.
Olympiacos, in particular, is said to be preparing a multi-year offer worth €1.5 million per season—still significantly lower than the terms of his reported deal with Hapoel.
Oturu averaged 8.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1 block in just 16 minutes per game in EuroLeague, while posting 14.5 points (on 70% shooting), 5.4 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in 22 minutes per game in BSL.
