Olimpia Milano will participate on 11 and 12 September in the inaugural edition of the “Paris European Games” at the Georges Carpenter Hall in Paris, a 5,000-spectator facility that will host the Paris Basketball games this year. The local team has been newly promoted to the French top league. Paris Basketball will be Olimpia’s first opponent at 16:30 on Saturday 11 September, right after the first game to be played between Alba Berlin and ASVEL Villeurbanne. On Sunday 12 September, at 14:00, Olimpia will face ASVEL Villeurbanne, a team member of the next EuroLeague season, of course. There are also two clinics along the games, one will be executed by Alba’s coach, Aito Garcia de Reneses and the other held by Coach Ettore Messina. “We are happy to take part in the Paris European Games inaugural edition, in such a prestigious city which is very important for the future of European basketball – Olimpia’s general manager Christos Stavropoulos said -. Those two games will be very important for our preparation, approaching the beginning of the season”.
