Leandro Bolmaro missed Olimpia Milano’s Sunday game against Trapani Shark due to quadriceps tightness, with Sky Sport Basket describing the absence as a precautionary measure. The plan is for the Argentine to be ready for Thursday’s EuroLeague clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Coach Ettore Messina confirmed before tipoff that Bolmaro was among the team’s absentees, explaining: “At the last moment he felt some stiffness in the quad, and we couldn’t risk another injury.” Bolmaro has been key this season, averaging 10.7 points per game in EuroLeague.
Postgame, Messina tempered optimism: “We hope to have him back Thursday, but we’re not sure yet.” The club will reassess his condition ahead of the upcoming European fixture.
