RealOlimpiaMilano analyses the stop Nikola Mirotic, who will have to stay out for at least a month and a half due to an injury. Extensive examinations have confirmed that Mirotic is suffering from a flare-up of left Achilles tendinopathy. He has already started a six-week rehabilitation course, at the end of which he will be re-evaluated.

During this period, Mirotic will miss several games in both the league and the EuroLeague. In the league he will miss games against Varese, Cremona, Brescia, Trento, Tortona, Pesaro and Sassari. In the EuroLeague, he will be absent in games against Barcelona, Villeurbanne, Panathinaikos, Baskonia, Olympiacos, Bayern, Alba, Red Star, Valencia and Barcelona.

Mirotic is expected to be re-evaluated at the end of January. If all goes well, he will be able to return to regular training, but he will need time to regain his physical condition and match rhythm. It is likely that he will also miss the games against Efes, Pistoia, and Real Madrid. His possible return date is 11 February, in the game against Brindisi, ahead of the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, scheduled from 15 to 19 February.
