Olimpia Milano is pursuing Darius Thompson, as reported by La Prealpina.
The American/Italian guard is expected to play for Italbasket in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup and that would give him the Italian status in the next Serie A.
Thompson spent the season with Baskonia and has a $600k buyout in his contract.
Olimpia Milano is searching a guard that can help Shabazz Napier and Thompson is the no.1 target of the Italian reigning champions.
Fenerbahce is reportedly interested in Thompson as well and Baskonia is also in the pursuit of Nico Mannion for next season.
