Olimpia Milano has registered through the end of the season Denzel Valentine, born on November 16, 1993, in Lansing, Michigan, 1.95mt tall, coming from the Sydney Kings of the NBL.

HIS CAREER – Valentine began playing at Sexton High School in Lansing which finished the season 27-1 during his senior year. Valentine then played at Michigan State also in Lansing. In his junior year, he was named to the third All- Big Ten Conference team (averaging 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, on 41.6 percent three-point shooting). As a senior, in the 2015-16 season, he averaged 19.2 points, 7.8 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game (44.4 percent three-point shooting) earning collegiate Player of the Year honors. He was also Big Ten Player of the Year and MVP of the Big Ten Tournament in which he led the Spartans to their fifth conference title. In June 2016 he was selected at number 14 in the NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls where he remained until 2021. In the NBA he then played in Cleveland and Utah, accumulating 260 appearances. In the 2016/17 season he finished with 10.2 points per game. In the 2023/24 season he played for the Sydney Kings in Australia (12.2 points and 5.3 rebounds on average)

NOTES – His father Carlton was his high school coach. Valentine played in the 2015 Pan American Games with the US national team, winning the bronze medal.
