Olimpia Milano secured their spot in the Frecciarossa Supercoppa 2024 final with a 73-62 victory over Reyer Venezia in Bologna. The game started slowly, but Milano found their rhythm with Ricci and Mirotic, extending their lead to 18-6 after the first quarter. Despite some resistance from Venezia, Milano held firm, taking a 39-22 lead into halftime.
Led by Dimitrijevic, who became the top scorer of the game, and contributions from Shields and Mirotic, Milano maintained control throughout the second half, withstanding a late push from Venezia led by Tessitori. Reyer’s comeback fell short as Milano sealed the win with a crucial three-pointer from Mirotic. Milano will now await their opponent in the Supercoppa 2024 final.
