Olimpia Milan will celebrate their 90th anniversary on the court at Allianz Cloud, hosting Anadolu Efes in EuroLeague action (8:30 pm). The game is framed as a must-win to build on the Athens upset and stay in the postseason race, against an Efes side in crisis but still dangerous.
Head coach Peppe Poeta has one main doubt in the build-up: Quinn Ellis, who missed the Panathinaikos game due to fatigue, must be assessed. On the positive side, Shavon Shields returns for Thursday, and Leandro Bolmaro is also set to be available after roughly a month out.
However, Stefano Tonut, Ousmane Diop and Nate Sestina remain sidelined with longer recovery timelines. Efes coach Pablo Laso travels to Milan without several key players as well: Vincent Poirier and Georgios Papagiannis (knee), Shane Larkin (groin) and Burak Can Yıldızlı (wrist), with Efes sitting bottom of the standings on six wins.
