HoopsHype sources say OKC will open a two-way slot to sign Sandfort on the same type of deal
The Oklahoma City Thunder plan to waive two-way guard Buddy Boeheim in order to create an open roster spot to sign Payton Sandfort to a two-way contract, according to HoopsHype sources.
Boeheim has three years of NBA experience with the Detroit Pistons and the Thunder, and he has also been a steady G League contributor, shooting 39% from three over four seasons.
The move would allow OKC to shuffle its two-way pipeline as the team manages depth and development options.
