The Oklahoma City Thunder will reevaluate Jalen Williams after the All-Star break after he suffered a second right hamstring strain in less than four weeks. Williams was ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after aggravating the injury the night before.
Williams had missed 10 games following the original Jan. 17 strain, returned Monday, then erupted for 28 points on 11-of-12 shooting in 20 minutes in Phoenix before exiting in the third quarter.
He’s averaging 17.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season, following a max extension signed after last year’s title run.
