The Oklahoma City Thunder will be without Jalen Williams for Monday’s road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after he was diagnosed with a right hamstring strain.
OKC has not announced the severity of the injury or a projected timeline for his return.
Williams was hurt in the second quarter of Saturday’s road loss to the Miami Heat.
An All-NBA selection last season, he also missed the first 19 games of the year while recovering from right wrist surgery, which he postponed until after Oklahoma City’s championship run.
In 24 games this season, he’s averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists as the Thunder sit at an NBA-best 35-8.
