The Oklahoma City Thunder secured a 103-100 road win over the New York Knicks, but took another hit on the injury front as Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein were both ruled out in the fourth quarter.
“They were just ruled out for the rest of the game,” coach Mark Daigneault said. “We’ll evaluate them tomorrow, but when they went out, they weren’t coming back.”
Caruso was hurt battling for a loose ball late in the third and headed to the locker room in clear discomfort, later saying he was “a little sore” and believed he got hit on the hip midair. Hartenstein, who has already missed time this season with a calf issue, logged 17 minutes (0 points, 5 rebounds), while the win was fueled by Chet Holmgren (28 points) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (26 points, 8 assists).
