Madison Square Garden witnessed one of the most incredible plays in New York Knicks history.

OG Anunoby completed the New York Knicks’ miracle. With 1.2 seconds left on the clock and his team trailing, the forward flew to the rim after Jalen Brunson’s missed three-pointer and sank the tap-in for a 107-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

A play destined to be remembered at Madison Square Garden, it came at the end of a 29-point comeback. Mike Brown called it “the most iconic shot in New York basketball history,” while Karl-Anthony Towns referred to it as “the right hand of God.”

Anunoby finished with 33 points and the play that puts New York up 3-1 in the series, just one win away from their first NBA title since 1973. Moments earlier, he had blocked De’Aaron Fox’s uncontested drive to the basket with just over 10 seconds left. His tap-in has already become a Knicks legend.
