Official: Saliou Niang joins Virtus Bologna on multi-year deal

Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna S.p.A. announced the arrival of Saliou Niang on a multi-year deal.

The talented forward was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 58th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Niang spent last season with Dolomiti Energia Trento, averaging 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds in 20 minutes per game across both the LBA and EuroCup.

Niang’s first words as a Virtus player:
“I’m very happy to join Bologna and a club like Virtus. Starting this new chapter means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to share it with my new fans.”
