Real Madrid C.F. has officially announced the signing of Mikael Jantunen. The Finnish power forward joins the club from Fenerbahçe after agreeing to a two-year contract that will keep him in Madrid through the end of the 2027–28 season.
A regular member of the Finnish national team, Jantunen has enjoyed success throughout his career, winning domestic league titles in Belgium, France, and Turkey, along with several other trophies in those countries. During the 2023–24 season, he lifted the EuroCup with Paris Basketball.
Last season, playing for Fenerbahçe, Jantunen completed a domestic treble by winning the Turkish League, the Turkish Cup, and the Turkish Super Cup.
