Fenerbahce has officially announced a one-year contract extension with team captain Melih Mahmutoglu. The experienced guard will continue with the Turkish powerhouse through the 2026-27 season, adding another chapter to a career that has been closely linked with the club since joining in 2013.

During his time in Istanbul, Mahmutoglu has helped Fenerbahce win two EuroLeague titles, eight Turkish League championships, six Turkish Cups and four Presidential Cups, establishing himself as one of the club’s greatest modern icons. He will once again wear the No. 10 jersey as he leads Fenerbahçe into the new campaign.
