Dolomiti Energia Trentino has officially announced a three-year agreement with Alessandro Bertini, an Italian guard and forward born in 2002, who is coming off a highly positive season with Pesaro.
Standing at 195 cm and weighing 87 kg, Bertini is a versatile two-way player known for his high intensity on the court. Offensively, he is an effective shooter both off the dribble and in spot-up situations, while also utilizing his speed and physicality to attack the rim. Defensively, he brings great energy and constant pressure on the ball, making him a valuable asset on both ends of the floor.
Born in Brescia on December 26, 2002, Bertini developed in the Germani Brescia youth sector and made his professional debut in the Italian Supercoppa during the 2020-2021 season. After gaining valuable experience across Italy’s professional leagues with San Severo, Bernareggio, and Orzinuovi, he enjoyed a standout year at Pesaro. Last season, he averaged 10.1 points per game while shooting an impressive 57% from two-point range, 41% from beyond the arc, and 81% from the free-throw line. He stepped up further during the playoffs against Rimini, notably recording 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in Game 3.
Head Coach Alessandro Rossi welcomed the new signing, stating that Bertini’s profile perfectly aligns with the club’s goals for the upcoming season. Rossi emphasized that the young player has demonstrated constant growth over the years and is fully expected to embrace this new challenge with great motivation.
