Hugo Gonzalez has signed his rookie contract with the Boston Celtics.
The 19-year-old Spanish swingman was selected 28th overall in the recent NBA Draft.
Shortly after the pick, Brad Stevens said that the former Real Madrid player “has all the characteristics, the intangibles of a winning player.”
Gonzalez will earn approximately $5.7 million total over his first two years, and around $14.3 million if the Celtics exercise the third and fourth-year options.
