Obradovic ahead of ASVEL: “We have many players out, but we won’t cry about it”

“We have to play a good game. ASVEL has experienced and athletic players such as Patty Mills and Jae Crowder,” Zeljko Obradovic said. He stressed the need to defend their three-point shooting, transition game and one-on-one play.

Obradovic also addressed Panathinaikos’ absences: “We have many players out, but we are not going to cry about it. Whoever is available has to give the maximum.” Juancho Hernangomez is expected to miss around 10 days, while the other injured players will continue their individual recovery programs without being rushed.

The Panathinaikos coach also praised Tony Parker: “He was one of the top European players ever. As a coach, it is easy to see what he wants to do, and ASVEL has very good chemistry on both ends.”
