The NBA has announced that the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers will play a regular-season game in Mexico City on November 7 at Arena CDMX. The matchup will be the 35th NBA game in Mexico since 1992 and the 16th regular-season game there, underlining how important the Mexican market remains for the league.
It will be Denver’s second appearance in Mexico after a 2006 preseason game in Monterrey, while Indiana will be playing in the country for the first time, becoming the 23rd NBA franchise to do so. The game will also take place during the week of Día de Muertos, a theme the NBA says will be reflected in the event presentation and fan activities.
The event is part of the league’s broader international strategy, with regular-season games also scheduled next season in Paris and Manchester. Outside the United States and Canada, no country has hosted more NBA games than Mexico.
